About Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia
The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia opened in 1998 in Kuala Lumpur's Lake Gardens area. Its building is famous for five turquoise-and-white inverted domes inspired by classical Islamic architecture.
The collection of more than 12,000 objects spans Iran, Turkey, India, China, and the Malay world, with internationally recognised holdings of Qur'ans, ceramics, and arms and armour.
