About Luxor Museum
The Luxor Museum opened in 1975 on the corniche overlooking the Nile, displaying objects excavated from the temples of Karnak and Luxor and from the West Bank tombs.
Its considered, low-light displays are widely regarded as the best-presented small museum in Egypt.
