Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and opened in 2010, MAXXI brings together two museums — MAXXI Art and MAXXI Architecture — under one curving concrete and steel roof.

Hadid's flowing galleries, ramps, and suspended staircases are themselves part of the experience.
