About Kremlin Armoury

The Armoury Chamber's history reaches back to the 1500s as the Tsars' workshop and treasury. Konstantin Thon's purpose-built museum opened on the Kremlin grounds in 1851.

Its galleries hold the Imperial coronation regalia, Fabergé eggs from the Romanov collection, royal carriages, and arms and armour spanning a millennium.
